Nobody was more excited than me to get Disney plus last week ( OK maybe their was some people more excited than me )
With oh so many shows to watch and stuff I had not seen in years, My life will never be the same after this.
I was a kid that was not blessed with the Disney Channel growing up. I had to go over to a friends house who had pay TV just to watch it or hire them from the Video store that no longer exists.
There is just something about Disney Movies that make me feel really happy, even now as an adult.
I always feel inspired and motivated to be a better person when I put on any Disney movie. So now that I have Disney Plus, I have been hit with so much Nostalgia I can Hardly breathe!!
plus all the stuff I never got to see growing up and the new fresh stuff like the Mandalorian……. Ive had a big week My eyes hurt..
So as always me being me I decided to find out just about everything there was to know about Disney +, whats to come and some of the features Disney + has to offer and write about it here.
If you don’t have Disney Plus yet this blog will not spoil it for you only hype you even more than you probably are.
Disney Plus has finally launched!! and by now the 7 day free trial offered to Australian,Canadian, New Zealand and US customers has ended. What a perfect time to finally talk about the new soon to be streaming giant.
Disney Plus is a new American (soon to be International) subscription streaming service owned by Disney.
The streaming service Launched in the US on November 12th and then in Australia and New Zealand on November 19th.
With Marvel movies like Avengers End Game and The Star Wars Saga being available on launch date.
Who’s Got Disney +
Currently there are five countries with Disney +.
The USA,Canada,The Netherlands,New Zealand and Australia.
The UK, France,Germany,Spain and Italy can expected Disney + to launch on March 31st 2020.
Countries in Asia Pacific and India could be waiting up till late 2020 for Disney+.
The streaming giant expects to be fully International by late 2021.

Australian customers $ 9 per mth
Canadian Customers $ 9 per mth

What’s On Disney Plus?
By December 2019 most of the Disney Content on other streaming service’s will disappear for good and will be released onto the app over the next few months.
Disney + not only will eventually have all of Disney’s content ranging from old Mickey mouse cartoons, Disney original movies, blockbuster films like Frozen and Dumbo and old nostalgic movies like Hercules and Flubber. The streaming service will continue to push out new content.
Disney + has a vast section for Little Disney lovers called Disney Jnr. your little one definitely will not be missing out on all the fun with so much to choose from new and old.
Disney + also has a whole Marvel section complete with most of the Avengers movies and stand alone films plus a hidden gem, the entire X-Men the animated series.
Remaining calm, Disney plus also has a devoted Star Wars Collection with AUS and NZ customers being treated to the entire Star Wars collection at launch including the Clone Wars series, Star Wars Rebels and the new 2018 animated series Star Wars Resistance.
Disney plus also partnered with National Geographic and Pixar bringing loads more content to the streaming service.
29 seasons of The Simpsons is also Available on Disney Plus.

Every Disney+ account can stream to four devices at one time. Eliminating those pesky fights for the remote.
On your Disney plus account you can create up to Seven different accounts for every member of the family and maybe even the neighbors, with over 200 avatars available.
Pick your favorite Disney,Pixar,Marvel or star wars character to really customize your account.
Disney + also features Unlimited mobile downloads for offline viewing. ( your device depends on how much you can store)
Disney Plus is ad free.
Disney + is available in English, Spanish,french and Dutch with both audio and subtitles available.
Additional languages are available for Disney + Originals.
Since Launch over 10 million subscribers have joined Disney + and can enjoy 500+ films and over 7500 episodes of television.
Dark Disney
Following the launch of Disney Plus in the US and Australia thousands of Disney + accounts have been hacked and also sold on the dark web, some users had passwords changed and had their accounts disabled while other accounts had bank account details hacked and sold.
Disney + did Make a statement last week That they had found no “Security breaches”, however they did say that “Disney + is likely to get extra Security in the future but nothing to confirm today”.
It is wonder this happened on both Release dates and while most customers were on 7 day trails at the time?
If you do not already have Disney+ and plan to get it make sure to not use your main Debit card online have a separate one for all online purchases and do not use the same password for everything.
Interface
Its not hard to find the droid your looking for with this home screen.
The easy to use app features trending titles on the home page while also providing an entire list of movies to flip through to find the perfect thing to watch.
looking for a specific thing? you can easily search for your favorite movie in the search bar, look for the icon on the left hand side of the screen.
Star Wars On Disney
In addition to the entire Star Wars Collection, Disney plus featured a Star Wars Disney Original,the first of its kind at Launch.
The new show is Titled The Mandalorian staring Pedro Pascal as a Bounty Hunter set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi.
It has been Rumored the series has cost a massive 10 Million Dollars Per episode to make with executive producer Jon Favreau already writing the 2nd and rumored finale season.
The Mandalorian has taken Star Wars fans beyond the Skywalker story and into the live action version of Star Wars Rebels, Mandalorian culture and it does not disappoint.
The First Season of the Mandalorian will feature 8 full episodes with a 2nd season on the way.
Disney also announced that a Star Wars prequel series based on Rouge one, staring Diego Luna, who played Cassian Andor in Rouge One was in production.
The series is set to begin filming in 2020 with a likely release date on Disney + in 2021.
Following that there will be an Obi-Wan TV Series which also begins filming in 2020 with Ewan McGregor returning to the role.
I honestly can’t..
Marvel On Disney
Marvel has made TV shows before, with shows like Jessica Jones, Daredevil,The Punisher and the Iron Fist which were released on Netflix over the past 5 years.
Since then, the shows have been cancelled but have been rumored to maybe be revived on the app.
In August 2019 at D23, Disney announced that they would be making Live action marvel hero TV shows with the actors from the very movies we know and love.
Here is the list so far,
The Falcon & The Winter Solider.
Staring – Anthony Mackie ( The Falcon) and Sebastian Stan ( The Winter Solider)
The series is expected to land on Disney + in October 2020
LOKI
Staring Tom Hiddleston
The series follows 2012 Loki after he escapes the Avengers clutches in End Game.
Loki should appear on Disney + in early 2021 expect him.
Wanda Vision
Staring – Elizabeth Olsen ( Wanda) & Paul Bettany ( Vision)
The much anticipated series is said to tie into the 2021 film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ( definitely one to watch)
Wanda Vision will return in early 2021.
Hawkeye.
Staring – Jeremy Renner
The series will follow our beloved Hawkeye passing the torch to another, in what no doubt will be a great series to watch with Renner back as Clint.
Hawkeye’s arrows will fly onto Disney+ late 2021.

She Hulk – Cousin to Bruce Banner
Ms Marvel – Teen Protege to Carol Danvers
Moon Knight – First Muslim Character that has Egyptian God like powers
So much Marvel Madness to come I can Hardly contain myself .
Final Thoughts, Is It Worth It?
Ive seen people ask this a fair amount online and from all the research I did to write this blog , I found that the US version and the one that Australia and New Zealand have differ.
Due to contracts with other streaming services Disney + US Customers will have to wait up until April 2020 to catch up with what Australia and New Zealand had on Launch day.
But with everything that the US has yet to get and the Things Australia and NZ have, it it totally worth the price.
There is just so much to watch and so much more to come.
The only bad thing I have experienced is when my WiFi drops out ( which is all the time) it makes me log out and log back in every time instead of sending me to the home screen. I might be the only one that happens to…oh well.
If you plan to get Disney + always remember two things
1.Sleep is necessary
2. Going outside to get good old vitamin D may be bright and burn you to death, but you gotta take a break, get some fresh air…

What kinda bothers me is that you can’t download episodes (Like on Netflix)…. Or am I just too dumb to find the option?

Hey there,
Depending on what device your using and how much space you have available the option to download movies or episodes is possible. If you’re using a phone or tablet simply click the movie and the option to download will be next the the + sign and play button ( usually is the last icon)
For individual episodes when searching an episode look at the bottom right of every episode next to the information button or you can head up top where it says season one or season two in the left corner, on the right it will say season with an icon. Hit the icon to download the full season. I hope this helps 😊😊😊
